    I wish I could give 0 stars! Unfortunately CenturyLink is the only internet provider where I live and the service is HORRIBLE! Their service is still through DSL and it's down more than it is up. And don't bother contacting their customer service...you can't even get through or if you are lucky (or unlucky) enough to get through, they don't know how to help you. I work from home and I cannot stay connected to my software programs. With such terrible reviews, if CenturyLink actually cared about their customers, they would upgrade their network! I do not recommend them to anyone! If you have another choice for an internet provider go with anyone else but them!

    Giving this company a one-star review is an insult to one-star and two-star companies. There should be a zero star option for companies like Century Link.

    I have been a Centurylink customer for over 15 years (not by choice) and they have never made any upgrades in my area. My monthly bill has increased but the service has decreased! No other providers service my area so they have no competition. The highest speed offered is 1.5 mbps which is extremely low considering they offer speeds up to 100 mbps in other areas. When I do speed tests the most I get is .2 download and .1 upload. It has made it very challenging working from home since COVID. Their customer service is a joke. You have to go through an automated system to troubleshoot. Then when you finally get a representative they are not very helpful or don't understand your problem. They always make you feel like you are the problem and not them. You have to really push for them to send a technician out. I hate to even give them one star but I cannot post this review without at least one!

    Horrible service, have had to call multiple times to customer support which did NOT HELP AT ALL because they don’t even know what their technicians really do. Had multiple appointments for technicians to show up, 3 out of the 5 times they did not show up but still had the audacity to send messages even though the business was closed after 7. We have had to tell them EXACTLY what was wrong for them to even send a technician to look at the problem. It has been over 20 days since we have had internet, the problem was simply a cable was cut during roadside construction. If I could give them a 0/5 star rating I would. Don’t try to get this service, they will argue with you when you have a problem with the service like an OUTAGE, they have a very outdated system that makes you wait forever anytime you request their services. I would never want anybody to have to waste their precious time with this disgusting company.
