I used Kenmar for my Father 3 years ago with good results. So, I decided to use them for my Mother also. It was a disaster from the get-go! 1) They tried to charge me an additional $500 in addition to my pre-need contract. 2) Certificate for cremation - I had to intervene to get this done using my County Commissioner and the Coroner. Found out that the info was in fact sent to Kenmar and verified by the Coroner. 3) Mother's service was on 1/18/22. Her cremation didn't occur until the week ending 2/12/22. 4) Each time I called, nobody had any specific answers, unless I talked to the Director. 5) I am still awaiting a death certificate that I was told was mailed by USPS more than a week ago. Today is 2/23/22. I was told they didn't know what date they mailed it. I gave them a mailing address twice and still they apparently mailed to the wrong address! 6) It seems that only one person in this organization has any answers. This is a management and training issue that needs to be addressed. Be prepared to manage your loved one's process, make notes, and follow-up because they have no follow through. I DO NOT recommend this business due to my experience with this firm.

The service for my mother was beautiful but the comment that was made to my cousin by the young gentleman at the end of my mothers burial service be sure to bring me more business with a laugh at the end, was very insensitive to me.

I recently had the experience of working with Mr. Evan at Kenmar. Aside from the fact that they were literally half the price of competitors , I cant say enough good things about our experience! We were not just a customer we were treated as family . Evan showed so much compassion and sympathy towards our family . He went out of his way to make sure all our requests were met . We did not have to worry about anything other than showing up . Thank you so much for all that you did for my family during this time of loss .
