Springhill Medical Center

Place is a joke. My dad is currently a patient and they refuse to give him anything to help him sleep. He was up all night coughing real bad and we told the nurses several times and they dont care. The nurses are absolutely hateful to my dad. Im over it. I dont recommend this hospital for the elderly because they will be mistreated and not taken care of.

I WISH I could give -10 stars. This hospital is a JOKE! My husband had a procedure back in 2023. Today we get a call from the collection agency that we owe 17.60. We are very confused because we always pay our medical bills. Come to find out.It is from the radiology department. I call the radiology department and they have our address wrong. We live on Theodore Dawes and they wrote Theodore Dolls So we never received a medical bill. The radiology department allowed me to pay the money and told me that I needed to contact spring hill hospital to update our address. I call and speak with someone who I believe Has dementia. She ask me If I am authorized on my husband's account. I am authorized on his account. I told her I needed to 1)update the address that You have on file. 2) Check for any other unpaid medical bills...Since the address was wrong and we never received bills. She let me update the address. She then tells me there is an unpaid bill For 85.85. But she can't tell me what it's for because of hippa laws. She will have to mail me an itemized statement And the 85.85 has already been sent to collections. i ask her for the collection agencies information And she tells me she is not allowed to disclose that she has to speak to my husband. So let me get this straight. She verified that I am an authorized contact on his file. She Then let me change the address That is on his file. She also tells me that there is an unpaid medical bill for $85.85 And that it has been sent to collections. I ask her for the COLLECTION AGENCIES phone number and name but she Can't give me that?! She has to talk to my husband to disclose that information. WHAT?! He works a lot of hours and it is not easy for him to get on the phone with hospitals To fight this kind of ridiculous nonsense. I guess yall better watch out because strangers call Hospitals to pay off random people's medical bills. I just hung up the phone on her. I just can't believe she was that ignorant. ** Update to the owner response. First of all, the numbers, is just a general number and had to ask to be transferred. Of course, she doesn't answer. So I leave a message... I highly doubt that she will return my phone call. Your response was just as ignorant as your employee because if a company sends you to a collection agency they would disclose that information to you. The collection agency is not protected by hippa and I was AUTHORIZED

I was taken to the emergeny room Saturday for a sever pain in my back. The nures and doctors were kind and very helpful. When it came time to discharge me, I was laying on a hoyer sling which is usual used with a hoyer lift. Because the hospital does not provide these lifts to the ER and my family member could not lift me, the nurses and doctor lifted me into my power wheelchair. A BIG SHOUTOUT to Tiffani, Courtney, Lauren and Grace !!!! A HUG and THANK YOU to Dr. Miller for going way beyond his call of duty. You are truly the best doctor anyone ask for.
