Used Jan after Dr. Porter retired. She did good on fillings, crowns, I decided to trust her and get some implants and snap in denture. Was told how happy I would be.
Well not happy would be a understatement!
1700. For a temporary upper. Actually it was a good copy of my original teeth just nicer. They Fit it well.
Months later thousands poorer, hours of fitting, trusting a final would be good. Nope
The almost 10,000 dollar snap in denture fit worse than my temporary, teeth to far forward, teeth Unaturally larger not to mention where the teeth hung down was below my bottom teeth. Or rested on my lower gums, the over bite and buckteeth I was given impaired normal speech.
She chose to add at extra expense to use 6 implant locations for snaps I had extras not needed. But she claimed I had to or it wouldn't be stable. Everything you can research says you only need 4 along with my surgeon who didn't understand her reasoning either. Who offered to bury the 2 unneeded other 2 for free.
When I said there has got to be a way to make it fit better was told that was as good as it could get. Maybe if you get another implant.
Well my patients ended there. Got 2 other opinions From peers of hers a oral Surgeon and and dentist specializing in dentures. With obviously a lot more skill. Was told yes they are bad, yes they should at a minimum at least be remade, or refund was in order.
I at this point went with the better advise, asked for a refund, she agreed really fast never attempted to talk to me try to get a remake.
I returned to have her remove snaps and reinstall caps on my implants. Returned the junk she tried to pawn off on me.
Upon the caps being reinstalled I told them something wasn't the same the caps were not at the same depths as they had been prior.
Jan said oh yes they are in the same spots without checking them against my temporary denture. I did not want to argue I did get my money back, and was sent out without being able to wear my temporary due to improper placement.
The implants do not move! My temporary has impressions from them and there depths which do vary so if in the wrong place it causes the temporary denture to not fit correctly.
What a perfect way to end a expensive waste of my time and patience. To have the last thing done to stay in form.
One last screw up to go on.
If your smart you will not use her for anything more than a filling or crown.
