Angels of Mercy!!!! These guys do more good in one day than all the politicians and corporations put together. EAGLES LANDING!!! I was a disabled homeless vet - I thought it was tough being in combat BUT it's even tougher living on the street or in homeless shelters not knowing where you'll stay the next night. When no one else would give me a place to stay - Eagles landing did. Eagles landing is one of the best grant and perdiem VA sponsored facilities in the southeast. The counselors and case managers there work their tales off to help the vets. Then don't get paid enough for what they do! Now i'm back on my feet again and was able to get VA benefits straight. If you're looking to donate to a worthy cause this charitable organization is in need and well worth it!. SO many philanthropists want to donate to politically correct causes like animal shelters and political action causes- That's all well an good but why not donate to help the homeless- give money to the VOA and to the waterfront mission downtown mobile. DO some good where it will have an immediate impact. why not help out the VOA, wounded warriors and veteran's charitable organizations. EAGLES LANDING NEEDS DONATIONS they need a cafeteria and beds among other things.
