Coastal Chimney Sweeps

Had another company come out for bad smell in fireplace. Told us the problem was not a dead animal. They said the odor was from mold and that we had to spend $2100 to waterproof the chimney. Called Coastal for a second bid. Showed up on time, walked in house, told me we had a dead squirrel and a hole in the screen. They removed the dead animal and scheduled the repair of the screen. Total cost $475. I asked about waterproofing. He said unless it is leaking, it didn't need waterproofing. Services: Animal removal, Chimney repair & restoration

My parents decided to use these people for a chimney repair. The man came out to inspect the chimney, said he will get back to my mom. My mom called back multiple times... same lady answered telling her that the owner will get back to her in no more than a day. My mom waited 4 weeks, until she called again with the same response. The owner finally called back and said that he was never told about my mom calling.... after further discussion, he admitted that he is overloaded with work. He will not give back the whole inspection fee... only half. Unreal. And a liar!!

Just had them come out for an inspection and cleaning. Extremely friendly, professional, very informative, and affordable. They just made a life long client.

I was waiting for a call for almost a month and when I called back the lady told me she needed to find some information and she would call me back and still waiting for her. But professional, liars and playing with the people and their time. I dont recommend this business for anyone.
