ATTENTION ANYONE LOOKING TO RENT IN THE HUNTSVILLE/ MADISON AREA!!!! DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LADY SHE IS FRADULENT. She posts for rent ads through valley mls, zillow, etc. and they are all SCAMS. Will tell you a property is for rent then when u go to turn in the application along with your money order for the application fee she tells you the property is not for rent and that someone is already renting it. Her favorite line is "TAKE ME TO COURT" which is very unprofessional and ghetto for a woman her age. I will be sure to make it known in this city to tell people DO NOT RENT FROM THIS FRADULENT individual. Zero stars for this lady. If you want to rent from a LEGIT and good Christian this is not the person you want to rent from because she is none of these things. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME PEOPLE. YOU WILL REGRET IT. One of her houses we looked at had pink, black, and brown mold in the kitchen drawers as well which is a major health hazard to anyone's lungs especially since we are in a pandemic. Do not rent from this person named LYNN HAHN.

My wife and I have been renting a duplex owned by Lynn for about 1.5 year now. When issues in the unit come up, she had been pretty quick to have it fixed. She hasn't raised rents on us which is a blessing. She isn't a nosy landowner. One time, the lawn guy was real late in mowing and after telling her this, she come out and mowed it herself the next day. We will likely use her to help us buy a house.

I would give 0 stars if I could!!! We started renting a property through GR almost 4yrs ago. She allowed us to rent the home with our dogs (pitbull and small mixed breed) as long as she could meet them and we had insurance that covered our pitbull. We brought them to her office and she met at the car, pet them, had no problems with pitbull and said he was very sweet so she allowed us to rent with her. When we moved in the house was filthy and had a lot of damages. the only thing nice in that home was the carpet since it was put in brand new right before we moved in. never problem tenants, Paid our rent on time every month and never called her for repairs/issues except for the AC unit that went out a few times. My husband repaired multiple things and only asked for the price of material to fix them taken off of our rent so that it helped the owner not have to spend extra money on contractors to fix things.-First issue 1 of her contractors calling her after servicing our AC to tell her the house smelled like dog. she called my husband flipping out asking us if we had permission to have dogs (really?!??). She then begins to tell us how we're clearly not taking care of our animals since the home has a dog smell, she also then said the dogs need to be kept outside. We told her absolutely not, our dogs are not outside dogs, they are family pets and if she wants us to keep them outside then she can go ahead and let us out of our lease early and we will move out because we are not keeping our dogs outside. She hung up on us and we never heard from her about it again. Second issue she called us in Feb/March of 2020 to tell us that we shorted her money on a rent check...from 6 months prior!!!! when my husband told her that didn't sound right she proceeded to tell him that she didn't have anything cleared for repairs that month and that we needed to give her the rest of the money. My husband told her no and that she needed to look through her paperwork and pull up the stuff from that month. She told him she wouldn't be looking through anything and that it was his responsibility to find whatever paperwork to show what he paid. She ended up hanging up on him (because that's real professional) We went back through our bank statements and checked photos from the bank and she got the FULL payment that month and there was no way it was an error, we looked at the checks for the month prior and the month after and both were full so, LIES! - Lastly She didn't even bring her inspection sheet that we did and tried to keep our inspection sheet because she didn't know if we had ever given her the original. I refused because we already had the "missing money" incident so I wasn't going to let her keep what little proof we had of how crappy the house was. During the walkthrough she would point things out and say she "would never rent the house out with that in the condition" and she would threaten us with "checking her pictures because she knows we didn't take care of this or that" but we literally had everything written down on our initial inspection sheet!-She kept our whole security deposit and charged us to replace the carpet for her reasoning of the house smelling like dog. She didn't even replace the carpet!! I also need to note that when I asked her why our pet fee wasn't applied to the balance of what we owed as well she began to tell me that a pet fee is what she charges us to ALLOW US to have our dogs...so it's basically free money we're giving the owner to have our dogs. By definition a PET FEE: a one-time non-refundable fee for allowing pets on your property AND covering potential costs. So by this definition our pet fee we paid should have been applied (because the carpet was replaced due to "pet smells") as well as our initial security deposit to give us a lower balance which she refused to honor. we had to completely "replace the carpet" which was $900 more on top of the security deposit and pet fee we initially paid (it's .89 carpet from Lowe's...what do you expect after almost 4yrs with little kids, dogs and constant foot traffic??) She also had the nerve to tell us we clearly didn't clean the carpet since the house smelled like dog when I had receipts from the company in my phone. Then again came that I had told her we had outside dogs which I NEVER would have told her because I don't like outside dogs and everyone who has ever known me would 100% attest to that. The home was literally in immaculate condition besides the "dog smell" (note that she basically told us cleaning the walls/baseboards was pointless because they were going to paint the whole house anyways but never mentioned this to us beforehand). She tried to act like she was doing us a favor because the owner wanted to put more expensive flooring in at our expense...that's not how it works so it wouldn't have happened anyways! There's a text limit on reviews otherwise I would write a lot more info but just BEWARE!!!

Dooooo Notttt do business with this company. Lynn G. Hahn is a 1,000 year old hag who will lie and make up things wrong with your home in order to use your money to make updates when you move out no matter how clean your house is. TRUST ME. Please listen. She will not fix anything in home and will not answer the phone. We had to live an entire year with a broken unit and pray it wasnt a hot summer. When we were unexpectedly given a 30 day notice to leave because the owner wanted to sale the house, we respectfully left the house completelyyyy clean. The house was spotless and I have pictures to prove it. She lied and made up things wrong with the house so she could fixed it up for the owner who wanted to sale the house and make updates. She then refused to look at pictures taken by us because she knew that the house was left spotless. We left the yard in top wonderful shape as we paid someone to do the yard beautifully before we left. Nothing was left either. When I confronted her with it, she laughed and told me to take her to court and hung up the phone in my face. Before you move in, she will not do a walk through with you before you move in or move out. She is lazy and will only give you a check list paper and tell you to send it in by mail. We had another issue with our ac unit and I wanted to come to the office to talk to her. When I called, She had a family member act like her assistant to answer the phone and tell me that she was not available because she had shoulder surgery. The very next day, my husband and I seen her driving around town. When I looked over at her, she had no sling on or anything in which she was turning and driving just fine. SHE IS A LIER. Please save yourself the headache and do not do business with Gordon reality. You will be making a big mistake. I hate that I have to even give her 1 star!
