        Remembering my visits to Yummy Soul Food always puts a smile on my face! I visited twice with friends when I was in the area this past summer! Warm, family atmosphere created by the employees - feels like youre in your grandmas kitchen! Good, genuine, food for the soul! Hope to visit again someday.

        The food is good. BUT I ordered CHICKEN AND DRESSING and I didnt get any CHICKEN ALL I got was Dressing. And I know Dang well them specks of meat it that dressing dont count Now I'm all for supporting black business but YALL CANT DO THAT! OAN: the dressing and mac&cheese is better than Sac's the mac&cheese is better than BettyMae's. The price is higher and the servings are smaller than Sac's and BettyMae's that's why I said ain't NO WAY the chicken and dressing plate shouldn't come with chicken! The dressing could use some gravy it's slightly dry. The pound cake is good (homemade), I just dont like it being lemon and not regular pound cake. The greens was ok. It wasn't busy when I went. The restaurant looked clean from what I saw. I hope they survive but that got to do better with them serving sizes if they gone be higher than everyone else.
