WARNING!!! Will took my check and charged me for gutter removal and never did the job. The roof looks like a first grader did it and they only ripped off half of the old roofing then put the new roofing on top of it. He uses illegal aliens and they break more than they work. My fireplace leaked and I had to pay someone else to fix it and do a new gutter job. Not professional. He has stolen from other elderly people in Decatur under another name. His rich mother actually owns the company and bails him out every time with a new business. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY TO ROOF YOUR HOME OR ANYTHING ELSE. NOTHING BUT A BUNCH OF CROOKS. NEVER RETURNED MY MANY PHONE CALLS.

Camko came to do roof repairs. Repairs were performed by roofer with his 9 year old son. Few month later and roof is leaking at the same spot. Contacted Camko first response was " dont expect a perfect roof for a couple of hundred dollars". Well our bill was $1500 and not a couple. Then we were promised someone would come and check, again nobody came and no more responses from this company, company did not respond to BBB either, now law siut in progress. Terrible customer service. Please read reviews on the Better Business Bureau site this is not the first complaint on there. Response to complaint incorrect as company did not come out to assess, no storm when leaking started. Leak at the same spot where repairs were done.

Just completed a major remodel & after dealing with many con-artist & incompetent contractors I was nervous about replacing our roof. I interviewed R.J. with Camko Roofing in person several times as well as several phone calls. I decided to hire Camko but before I signed a contract I had to put the new roof on hold due to other issues. Many months later it was time to replace the roof. I decided to go online just to recheck customer reviews as well as the BBB before I contacted R.J. again and to my complete surprise and dismay I found many shockingly horrible reviews. The deeper I dug the worse it got. I even saw where they were wanted in Florida and had a picture of their truck posted by the sheriff. I am so very thankful and deeply grateful for all the online reviews here and other places. I feel like I dodged a bullet that was headed straight for me. So please keep on posting reviews it's one of the only ways that offer some warning and protection to consumers. REVIEWS MATTER. Thank you.

Very frustrating experience....roofer wanted me to sign check received from insurance and be reimbursed for work that would cost less than deductible. We came to agreement and work started. Then we were completely forgotten about because hey, they were paid. I had to reach out several times for shed to be done as this was in scope of work and got no response and had to contact owner. Wait additional week for weather and they finished it. I have yet to receive the rest of what was in original check minus deductible. I've been led around in circles for months that a check is on the way, in the mail, should already be there, and the last response I've gotten is that they are still waiting on check from insurance. I learned a very valuable lesson that day to cash the original check myself and only give what was my portion to pay. A dispute between the roofer and insurance is not a fault of mine and I've been completely caught in the middle. It has been many months since the roof was finished and I'm at a loss, even if it was small. I reached out to owner and he said he would issue a check if we did not hear from insurance in 7 days and would continue to contact insurance and that was November 2018. I have yet to hear anything or get another response. Never again. Never, ever again.
