        This place is full of art and had a good conversation with the owner. He was able to give some guidance and support on some restoration on one of the pieces I brought in, and in selecting mats and frames. All in all a good experience.

      Established in 1993. Carlisle Gallery began as a small frame shop with a selecton of fine art prints.Over the years it has come to house one of the most diverse collections of art offered for sale in the Southern United States. Kirk Carlisle has always had the philosophy that: when you sell one piece of art you reinvest in two more. Over the past 20 years this practice has lead to an impressive collection of diverse pieces representing 1000 or more years of art history. In recent years Carlisle has been focusing more and more on Abstract or contemporary art . You must see this collection. Carlisle Gallery is a great place to bring those out-of-town visitors. Huntsville is a cultured and modern southern city.
