I was looking for a place for my mom and visited many assisted living facilities. When I walked in to the cottage and met with Kelly and took the tour I knew this was the place for my mom. The staff there is excellent and so helpful. If you need a place for your loved one please tour country cottage and find their new home.

Bree, Melinda, and the entire staff have been great with my grandmother. We had to hurriedly move her into assisted living due to declining mobility. Both Melinda and Bree, went above and beyond to help us get this done in about a week. I am so appreciative of this facility and it means a lot to me being 12 hrs away.

Country Cottage accepted my mother, planned with me for over 2 months, promised all kinds of levels of care that they were organizing for us, allowed us to spend thousands of dollars and an entire weekend of time moving and building furniture, and accepting payment for the first months stay, and then called us on the day of move in stating that they would not accept her anymore due to her having a new catheter. State guidelines allow for her to have one if she is able to either instruct, or empty it herself which she was able to do. Country Cottage refused to do a reassessment of my mother and only spoke with nurses at the rehab facility, their contract states they would do an assessment on the patient, not another facilities staff. They also advised that they would be keeping funds for any days that her furniture was present in the room, even though she had never moved in and they did not render any services. It took threatening legal action for them to come to terms with their mistake and offering to not cash the check.
If you care about a family member and don't want to waste thousands of dollars and months of time, I advise seeking help elsewhere.

My wife works here their managers are not equipped to do their job and she had to stay at work BC no one would relieve her to go to the Er with kidney stones the hospital Dr ask her why she had waited so long and she was honest that her managers would not let her leave work she was in pain serverly I even drove to the cottages to take her to the Er but no one ever came!! They slandered me to another cottage stating that my behavior was a problem! Then they blocked me on their face book page because I posted telling how they railroaded my wife into doing a manager on duty job for one week they didnt tell her what was expected until after her week started and wouldn't let her quit until it it was over if they file charges on me I will counter sue for slander plus all I did was say ID bust windows if they didnt talk to me my wife is special needs and I will protect her even if I need a power of attorney period she still works there
