We made reservations three weeks before valentines day for the day after which is Friday the 15th. But weren't told till one week before when they called to confirm our reservation that they were not serving their regular menu that night and that they would only have one 4 course meal available and its $99 PER PERSON. Normally when we eat there we get The Big Night Out and it's a 4 course meal for two for $80. This price gouging is outrageous. I could understand serving only one 4 course meal for two (since it is valentines day, a romantic holiday for COUPLES, and your expecting to be busy) and raising the price to $99 for 2 people. But what they did is a slap in the face to all hard working class citizens and it is unacceptable. We would of had to pay $250 including tax and tip, and that's if we drink water. I can go eat at Texas De Brazil for $100 and then spend the rest on a hotel room for the night at The Westin for that much. Which I might would have, if anyone would of had a reservation available a week before valentines day. But ofcourse no one does. Which is why we made our plans three weeks before. The Melting Pot has lost my business forever.

This place is amazing! I went for my birthday and it was so good! We did order the Cookies and Cream Marshmallow Dream as a chocolate, and it was amazing. The Spinach and Artichoke cheese fondue was so freaking good. I loved it. I don't understand how people can hate this place and never come back because of one night. Now, if it happened regularly (which I don't think it does), it would make more sense.

Two of my best friends and I came in for cheese, chocolate and some drinks. We are what we considered melting pot experienced. Well this night was to be different. We came in to a waitress whom we had never had before. Her name was Abby and she opened our eyes to what a true quality melting pot experience could be. She was there when we needed her. She answered questions. She had spot on banter that was a perfect mix of sincere while maintaining a humorous attitude. On top of that she informed us of melting pot inside info we had no preconceptions of beforehand. It was a wonderful experience. And I wish her the best. We all do.
