I'm "on the fence" about this particular Mapco. Before C-19, I stopped here frequently because it was on my strategically mapped out and down to the minute commute routes. During those days nearly 3 years ago I frequented this Mapco, using the rewards card and getting items from inside. The parking lot is a tad tight now, the concrete bumpy and rough and depending on the time of day you will have trouble entering and exiting this store. It has a Domino's just north of it and this particular intersection can be and really is a cluster if you don't hit it during the "sweet spot."Employees, in my experience, have been generally helpful-with the Mr. or Ms. "I forgot to take my meds today," sometimes manning the checkout line. It's small. I think there are three lanes of pumps with one pump per lane. Most days my rewards card doesn't work at the pump. And ya know what? The Mapco app is even worse because it is nearly impossible to set up and use. To sum it up: there are two Mapcos in this general vicinity. This one and the one further east/southeast from this one on Old Madison Pike near the Rideout Road/University Drive intersection behind Wal Mart. Completely avoid that one unless you are looking to buy some meth. This one comes in at close second for me as pretty much ghetto.

I have been a loyal customer since it was an Exxon and a local my entire life. I honestly have never had a bad experience in this store before tonight. I walk in and go straight to the item I intended to purchase. I walked up to the counter, and placed the item down. How are you? I said with no response. No big deal. Yall been busy tonight, any good business? I said with zero acknowledgment. Must be a bad night for her I thought in my head. She rang me up and I noticed that the price was higher than what the sticker said. I didnt worry about it and started the purchase process anyways due to it being a dollar difference. I told her about the discrepancy just so she would know, but she proceeded to chew me out. Like for real. I was shocked and didnt know how to respond. I couldnt believe she would do all that for me telling her about the price difference. She basically called me stupid because I didnt tell her before I bought it. I tried to explain but she wouldnt let me talk as she raised her voice to a scream and told me the police were coming!!!!!! Hahahaha. Really??? I walked out. They can keep it. Amazing Sunday, June 19. 2022. Early am.
