    I no longer consider this store for my business. My reasons why are simply the prices are very high and the last time I was in the store it was to make a return. I couldn't find my receipt however I called the night before I actually went into the store and I personally spoke with the store manager and I was told that it wasn't any problem to make my return with proper ID and would agree for a store gift card. I went before lunch time the next day I asked the cashier if I could speak to the store manager I had spoken to the night before. I was informed that the manager had the day off and then the cashier asked if she could help me. I presented my return in its original packaging and had my ID out and ready and as I began to explain to her about what the manager and I had discussed. She rudely and abruptly informed me in a challenging manner that she could only give me half of what I had paid for my item because I didn't have my receipt and that was the store policy. And if I didn't want to accept that I could return when there was a store manager available. I went ahead and agreed simply because of all the hassle and time I had put into it. I took the gift card and went back to the store area and made my choices. When I returned to the same cashier and register there was one customer ahead of me who only had four items. Apparently they knew each other outside of the store and this is no exaggeration they literally had a eight minute change conversation between the time of the cashier ringing up her items and receiving payment from the customer.

    I recently purchased something that wasn't the correct item. I couldn't find the receipt so I called the store and spoke to the store manager. I explained the situation and asked their policy and was told no problem bring it back with ID and if the item had been on sale in the past few days that would be the amount I'd be refunded on a gift card. I went in the next morning and the cashier was borderline rude from the beginning and when she processed the refund she was so busy talking with her friend in line behind me When she was done she informed me that because I had no receipt the store policy was I would only be refunded half the price I paid when I explained to her that I had spoken with the store manager the night before and that was not what he had said. Her response was I can only say that its half or none. She acted put out and bored. When I inquired about if the item had been on sale recently she said no and asked me how much I had paid for the item she literally shrugged her shoulders and began to once again talk to her friend behind me. I went ahead and took half the price and went and got a few items and returned to her line her friend was shopping and I placed my items on the counter and she inquired about a Rite Aid card I said I used to but didn't have it with me she literally sighed as though it was a burden for her to put in my phone number. Her friend returned to the line behind me and she was once again all about what she was doing and had done I realized that I had forgotten something so I asked my friend who was with me if she'd get it and check out while I was in the van. Her friend was next to check out and then my friend seventeen minutes later my friend came out to the van she had purchased three sodas and three candy bars and stood in line behind the cashiers friend waiting for them to completely finish their long reunion. I can assure you that if this Rite Aid was the only pharmacy and store here in Eufaula Alabama I would drive forty minutes away before returning to that store Definitely left bad taste in my mouth
