    My name is Matt Majors and my fiance and I have been on the dreadful search for our daughter's first car. Shopping these days is stressful due to inflation cost, availability and the quality of the vehicles being sold. It is hard to find a dealership that isn't shady and trying to capitalize on your bank account. This is our second time working with Solomon Chevy and John Sistrunk. He is an amazing salesman, military veteran and always goes the extra mile to make things perfect. We found a 2016 GMC Terrain with 106k miles on it that was very well taken care of. They quoted us $12,500 but could drop down to $11,500 before all closing cost. We messaged him and threw in our offer of 12k out the door cash. John said he would have to run it by the boss. He reached back out to me in the morning immediately and said they would do out the door 11,999.99 just to get under my 12k or less request. We talked about it and decided to commit to the purchase. I received a carfax for the vehicle and noticed there was 1 GMC recall on file for headlights. I asked John if we could bring the vehicle back in later to get the recall addressed. He said " We already seen that recall when we acquired the vehicle, the part was ordered and was in the shop. I have already put it in the service line to get it fixed before it is sold"! I was impressed with the attention to detail and the obligation to make it right before we even hand over money. I kept up John by text to see when it may be ready because we were going to surprise our daughter by stopping in. We had made up a story to her that the dealership and us couldn't meet on a price and the deal fell through. She had previously requested that she wanted to be surprised with whatever we decided to buy. Around noon on Tuesday March 26th, 2024 I reached out to John with the second request that my daughter wanted. Although it be very cliche, a young teenage girl wanted a big car bow on whatever car we purchased. I asked John if they sold those and told him I would pay extra for that gesture. He said we don't sell them but let me see what I can do. He messaged me back in a few minutes and said I contacted Party America and they can make 16" ribbon bows. He said I am going to go pick those up. How many do you want? I said we would want 2 pink bows, one on each mirror. He went out of his way to pick those up and have them put on prior to us arriving to surprise our daughter. The extra treatment and attention to detail shown to us will make us a Solomon family customer for life! I have never had a better experience than with this team. I emailed John Monday night after we left the lot and placed our offer and told him to pass on a message to the boss man that if they will do me favor and meet my offer on this sale, I will bring all my future vehicle needs to their doorstep. I have always been treated with the up-most respect and care by every member of this team. I have never doubted any vehicle we have drove on the lot. I know this team will ensure it is right to sell or it doesn't leave the lot til it is! Thank you from my family to yours! I will continue to send any friends and family to your door because we trust yall with our business and kids safety and I will help our friends and family find good people like the Solomon family in Dothan, Alabama! I will do everything I can to make sure dealers like Ed Sherling in Enterprise, who wouldn't budge a penny off their profit to meet our needs. I owe them nothing and will not help them anymore from this day forward. I am not here to bash anyone but buying a vehicle is about compromise and yall treat us like family! Thank yall and we love you guys! I do not normally leave comments but I felt I owe this to yall and to anyone reading these reviews that are on the fence with trusting their money and family member's safety with Solomon Chevy! Thank you for everything and we will be back to see yall soon for another purchase!
