        The Assisted Living Side is good, the Rehab side is horrible and twice have caused more harm than good for my family members. They do not bathe the patients properly, they do not ensure medications are correct, they are careless and negligent. If you have a family member there watch them like a hawk! The administrator there named Elise is useless and avoids addressing issues.Once they find out a family member will hold them accountable they will force the patient out so they don't have to deal with them.

        Charlton Place has its ups and downs just like some of the staff. Some are compassionate and consistent when others are just downright lazy and rude. They label the residents and one prime example is my husband is always informed that he isnt as bad as they say he is. Who is telling the other workers about the residents? They should be letting them know their likes and dislikes. They should get to know them personally and perform their own opinion. Some staff members have attitudes towards the residents. A nursing home is not going to be a bed of roses but at least make the residents feel like they are in a family environment. You should not work with people if youre not a compassionate person. Another thing - if youre trying to reach someone at the facility and they look at the caller ID and see a certain name - they will not answer. Ive had someone walk in the facility and I would call - they looked at the phone and ignored it. Its bad when you have to directly message administration staff in order to get results. It gets better then it gets worse. Then when you say something about it youre scared that your family member will be retaliated against. He cannot actually do anything for himself so he depends on them 100%. Do some care? Im still stuck on that one after the 2 years he has been there. Im just glad he has a voice. THE CNA STAFF ARE FULL OF WORKPLACE BULLIES!! THEY GO INTO THE RESIDENTS ROOMS WITH ATTITUDES THAT THEY DON'T WANT TO BE THERE. OTHER SUPPORT STAFF ARE SCARED OF THE BULLIES. SOME OF THEM DO NOT ATTEND TO RESIDENTS NEEDS AT ALL. THEY SPREAD RUMORS ABOUT THE RESIDENTS. THEY TELL THE RESIDENTS WHAT THEY ARE NOT GOING TO DO. THEY ARE NOT HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR ACTIONS. RESIDENTS ARE NEGLECTED AS THEY STAND AROUND GOSSIPING AND SMOKING OR JUST DOING NOTHING.

        If there was a choice to do 0 stars I would but this is absolutely one of the worst nursing homes to put your loved one in. The nursing staff is mediocre at best and the CNAs are an absolute NIGHTMARE.
