Blankenship Lawn Care and Landscaping

We hired Blankenship Lawn care in March 2021 to maintain our lawn. They did a decent job mowing and weed eating the lawn. They told us that they would be coming to manage our lawn every other Tuesday, but the actual day they showed up varied. We never knew when they would come until we had seen our grass cut and a bill in our mailbox. Regardless, we continued to have them service us because we really needed the help. What brought us to this conclusion and the rating was when they didn't show up to manage our lawn for over a month. When we reached out to them, they claimed that they had come a couple times but there was a car blocking the gateway to the backyard. We told them that we were unaware of their presence, and they stated they couldn't reach us because they lost our phone number. (They could have at least left a note alerting us to their visit, or completed the front yard - where they already had access.) When we contacted them the following week to see if they could take care of our yard, we were told that they were backed up due to the weather and recommended we find someone else to do our lawn service. We had been beyond patient with them and their irregularities and bare minimum work, but their reactions to our requests and lack of communication has pushed us to leave this review.
