    I purchased a 2015 Lexus GX460 w/44,000 miles from Colony Motor Cars, Daphne, AL one week ago. I noticed quickly the vehicle was advertised as a "luxury" instead of "premium". Premium is clearly stated on the car fax but a Luxury increases the value by about $6,000. That was my first red flagged I ignored. Many I didn't catch. Prior to my purchase, I ask Butch, the owner what he had done to the vehicle. Butch replied "nothing, it came in looking this good"! The car appeared in great mechanical/cosmetic shape. However, I was not given the honest answer. I have began to notice peeling, the color wearing off and cracking of the drivers side seat (both the bottom and back part). I called Butch today and ask him if he had spray repaired painted the seat and he replied "I don't know, why"? I then told him what was happening and even coming off on my pants. He then said, "oh well we might have". I said "did you repair my seat" and he said "just fixed it which is normal" further stating that I had two options which is to bring it back to him on a warm day and he would spray it again or I could pay to have the leather replaced". I reminded him that he told me he had done "nothing" (no repairs) to the car and never told me about the seat repair. He denied telling me this and then told me again that I had two options, which he can repair again or I can replace the leather at my expense then said thank you and hung up. He lied to me before I bought the car and lied again when I ask about the repair today and then suddenly remembered the repair. I would NEVER pay what I did for a vehicle that needed the spray mix leather repair because it never lasts and eventually looks horrible. My "repair job" only lasts a week because apparently it wasn't a warm enough day and when done "out back in the shop", it doesn't work. I thought that buying a car from a small dealership and Butch being a friend of a friend of mine, I would have an honest deal. After knowing he lied to me, he didn't offer to have the leather replaced but just to spray it again. The seat looks horrible and will continue to worsen. I will never buy another vehicle from Colony and we will tell EVERYBODY of this experience. They spray repair the seats to hide any and all the imperfections which quickly wears off and cracks/peels after being used. I have since spoken with somebody who purchased a Tahoe from Colony two years ago and experienced the same problem but much worse even had spray on their dash which has now peeled. What else was I not told about my vehicle.??? Is it the passenger seat too but it just hasn't started cracking yet?? I am very upset and disappointed. I ask the question, "what has been done to the vehicle"? I would hope for the honest answer. Buyers Beware!! I also understand it was a pre-owned vehicle but this repair is not obvious until your getting in/out of the seat for a few days. Thank you for the lesson Colony! Hope you smile all the way to the bank and sleep at night. And what about Option 3 ??? - Colony back their word and you replace the leather at your expense!
