Ive been a patron of Tazikis ever since they opened their very first restaurant in Birmingham. The food is amazing, there is something here for everyone and the quality is always great. It saddens me to see the restaurant here in Daphne in the current state its in, my father and I have been a few times since the pandemic began, weve seen shortages in both food and restaurant supplies which is completely understandable. What I dont understand is how dirty the restaurant is. Weve been 3 times in the last few months and each time there were 3+ dirty tables for the duration of our stay, the floor was covered in crumbs and vegetables, the booth was filthy, and the line was a mess. I hate to see it, the remodel looks really good, I just wish there was an effort to keep it clean.

Not only did I sit and wait for my curbside order for 15 minutes, while I was THE only car in the parking lot. I watched the employees sweep and mop the restaurant (they close at 9PM), it was 7:42PM. (I get it, I too have worked in the service industry - ready to get it done and get out), but there is no way you didnt see my headlights beaming at you through the window. And so did the employee who was on her phone outside, who passed my car twice while pacing the sidewalk. She just so happened to be the one to greet me when I walked in and said, oh you curbside? I didnt see you. Hmm thats weird. I saw you enjoying your phone call, while clearly on the clock. Gets order - This is where I made my biggest mistake, besides ordering from here in general, the delicious food isnt worth the awful service. (And I tipped). I didnt check my order, which was missing items. My fault completely, should have assumed this would be the case. I called and turned around to pick up my missing food. I return to the store, walk in and am greeted by no one (theres like 6 employees, just in view). I stand at the pick up counter until the one girl who accidentally makes eye contact asks me what I need. I told her I had called and she hands me the missing food. Bless her.
