Mark is an absolute joke of a guide. Would give him 0 stars if I could. This is the 2nd time in 2 years that he has canceled on us the morning of our trip as we were already on the way to the marina to meet him. Both times he stated that his Ex-wife had slashed his trailer tires on his boat and he was unable to fish that morning. I mean, dont we have laws against stuff like that? I know the old saying Fool me once . I guess I should have gone by it, but we gave him another chance. To make matters worse, my 3 old son was going to go with us this year as my wife and I felt he was ready for a half day trip on the lake. He watched crappie fishing videos on his tablet all week leading up to our trip and was so excited when we woke up at 4:30 AM that morning. He was so crushed when I had to explain to him that we were not going to go fishing that day. He didnt even try to reschedule with us as we were on Weiss lake all week. Please do not waste your families time with Mark and go get a better more reliable guide to take you out.

The best guide on Weiss Lake. I have been fishing with Mark for over 20 years and I will only utilize his services. Have my own boat and I still continue to fish with Mark yearly not as a guide but as a teacher. He will show you how to catch crappie. How to use the equipment and electronics. Best though, he is simply a great guy. I have taken my kids fishing within since 2001 when my son was7. My wife today even goes. Mark couldn't be better working hard to get us on the fish.
