If I could give zero stars I would. This is an absolutley horrible place to work. Unfortunately, they have immature management that causes very unprofessional, unethical practices, and poor ownership. There is an extremely high turnover rate so let that speak for itself. I would not recommend this place for employment (including carriers)!

These people send you 1099 so why if I worked with them in 2022 I did my 2023 taxes and now they send me the same thing again, they want someone to launder their money or I don't know and they ignore you, they think you're stupid for being Latin, it's not a good company they are handy

The company is very deceiving. We booked a load posted for 40,000 lbs which is about the amount of weight we put on our trailers to avoid weight issues. The confirmation reads 15,000 lbs which anyone would say it's a plus. But we got loaded with ACCORDING TO THE FORKLIFT OPERATOR 48,000 lbs. I called Tortorigi and they argument was that the posting was for a full truck load which I suppose in their eyes means 48,000 lbs. Then when I tried to rebuke their statements the lady I was speaking to became very offended as many people nowadays do when you confront them with the truth.
