Chili's Grill & Bar - Closed

I am really disappointed they are closed!! The best dern fried pickles!!!! Loved the table games.

Did not like this Chilis at all. The quality of their food and the attentiveness of their waitstaff needs some work!

This is John Linn, not Connie Linn writing the review. I recently got an email concerning Chili's new happy hour. Intrigued by that and convenient to us, we decided to try it out. First of all, let me say that we had basically stopped eating at Chili's because of the variety and number of restaurants in the area we like better. But we thought we'd give it a shot. Where to begin...The service is slow. The watiresses stand up there chatting with the hostess. We turned on the call light at teh table but they are apparently blind to those at this point. It didn't help. The glasses ran dry at one point. I asked for a condiment when my meal was served. I ate slowly waiting for that condiment, and finally stopped eating to go hang out at the kitchen door to catch someone coming or going to ask for it. The appetisers were over-cooked. The prices on the tab were higher than on the menu. The waitress had no knowledge of the menu and couldn't answer questions. We got ready to go...no watiress. So we paid at the table top kiosk. We forgave the overcharges, but we tipped the minimum 15% based on that and the poor service. I ran my card to pay the total and opted for a printed receipt at teh table rather than an email. Mistake - the printer was out of paper. It didn't give me a second opportunity. So I checked the charge on the card later to verify teh charge was correct, and they had added a 20% gratuity. What a cluster flock. They should be ashamed of the inattentive wait staff, the food preparation, the overcharges, and oh - did I mention the place needs a good scrubbing and smells sour? Avoid this place. It's past its prime and needs to go.
