Ordered room service was told room service stop at 9:00pm told the server I would come down and pick it up. Was still charged a room service fee 12.50 that couldn't be refunded ordered a chicken shrimp pasta only received shrimp with tails still on mixed in pasta. Ask if I could get a refund for pasta and room service was told to come back the next day nice hotel bad dinning experience. The bartender and server was nice though I guest the situation was just above them??? No manager on duty that could resolve the problem right away is a little frustrating

This place is beautiful inside, very misleading. Poorly stock, lack of beer choices, service needs improvement and the food is inconsistent. I stayed the week at the Tutwiler. I visited the bar and grill four times and was highly disappointed with each visit. I will say one good thing about the inconsistency of the food “eatable “ the wings and jalapeño burger where good but they served different fries each time and the burger was not the same, once a seem to be handmade patty, the second time a clearly frozen prepared patty. This place need a “Bar Rescue”

Good food, great restaurant in a hotel in downtown Birmingham. I have had several meals there when I visit Birmingham and the food has always been great, the drinks are always cold. The only issue I have had is service has been spotty from time to time. The kitchen closes at 9PM so be aware of that. Again, for a hotel the product is ABOVE average.
