Excellent company. Did tree work, laid a patio, cleaned & put pine stray in flower beds & poured a driveway for us! Well satisfied with the work and price. Highly recommend and will use again. Punctual, Professional & Prompt service from Mr. Horn & his employees.

I have been using Affordable Lawn & Chem Care for my commercial property along Parkway East in the Birmingham area for more than 20 years. I have always found them to be polite, punctual, professional, honest and customer service oriented. As a landlord of commercial properties around the United States, this is one of my longest and best business relationships I have developed. I support and stand by Robert and Tiwanna.

We have selected Affordable Lawn & Chem Care Service based on A+ rating by BBB. The owner came by that very day and provided an estimate on trimming our shrubs and mulching all beds. The first problem arose when he asked full payment be made upfront. Although it made us uneasy, he swore as a “good Christian” that everything would be made honestly and to our satisfaction. The workers arrived next day, mulched the beds, but did not touch the shrubs. They just cut off a few branches that were sticking out, did not do the trimming, and left! We called the owner next day. He called back a left a message to apologize and promised to fix everything next week. The week passed but nothing had been fixed. We called to remind him but he did not return the call. It took half a dozen of phone calls, and finally a complaint to BBB that brought them back. However, when they came back they did not do an acceptable job. It took them about 15 min including cleaning and it looked like they did this just to get us off their back. Ultimately, it took us a bushwhacker, three hours of trimming, and three 30 gallon bags for trimmings to get it right! When you order a service from someone who asks for money upfront and has A+ rating by BBB, you expect impeccable business. Affordable Lawn & Chem Care Service is simply unscrupulous. We never had to explain to other services how the shrubs should be trimmed. It is like explaining to hairdresser the difference between $100 haircut and $10 trim. If they do not know the difference, they should not be in this business. We will never use this service again and can only recommend everyone else to stay away. To conclude is a note on the BBB rating system. Although our compliant is registered on the BBB website of this business, the rating still is A+. So much for the BBB rating system!
