Badly managed soccer club. Probably One of the least competitive clubs in Birmingham. Understaffed and unorganized. Their priority one goal is to collect as much funds as possible while spending the least amount of money on developing teams and coaches. They don't have any long-term vision for providing a quality soccer learning experience for the kids.

HSC is on the rise. Paul the HSC rec director is working hard to organize and streamline the rec program. My son has played for the past two seasons and I will sign my second son up in the fall (and then sign up the youngest when she is old enough). Ignore the negative reviews from last year, since Paul has taken over the program, it has improved significantly.
Update 2021: I have two soccer players in the rec program. Paul does a great job of organizing teams and games. This is good program for beginners and soccer players.
