i'm almost always working during Daylight Donuts business hours, so today was my first time in. my coworkers had brought some in before, so i already knew that this place was where it was at. i haven't had donuts this good since i left San Diego. i finally managed to pop in thirty minutes before they closed, an even though it was late, Del was cheerful and happy to help me out. he took the time to let me take in the varieties, explain the flavours, etc... i bought two dozen and a bag of donut holes for a very reasonable price. moment of truth– i just got them home and bit into my favourite flavour, and i was shocked and relieved at the quality of the dough. this is the place i've been looking for. my only regret is that i didn't buy more while i could. these are truly special donuts, with an above and beyond atmosphere and customer service. thanks, Del! you took my experience to the next level. i'll absolutely be back just as soon and as frequently as my schedule allows.

Good doughnut shop with a good variety. I especially like the way they make their apple fritters - thinner and wider resulting in a good ratio of fried and glazed outside to soft inside.
