I own a small gas station and a customer came inside yelling about the gas not filling his tank enough (he acted and sounded like he was on drugs). My cameras barley work, so I immediately took my phone out to record the incident. There was no video, since I had it facing downwards, but I relied on the audio. He grabbed my phone and threw it on the floor. An argument ensued and I threatened to call the cops. He left the gas station, but I needed the audio off the phone to prove I was not the perpetrator. Company was able to swiftly recover the audio off the broken phone, and I was able to use it in court.
