Urban Cookhouse was inspired by family. From PawPaw Snyder who taught our founder how to carefully smoke meats over hickory wood and charcoal and grow farm fresh vegetables to the Tomaino Family that came to America to start a new life, family is the â€œwhyâ€ behind Urban Cookhouse. Sherry Snyder, our founderâ€™s mother, was most at home in the kitchen modeling made-from-scratch cooking to her sons. The family farms that provide the fresh ingredients are another vital piece of our family tree that make Urban Cookhouse feel like home to our customers within the communities we serve.

Their food is always fresh, delicious, and an ample portion. Waiters are attentive and helpful.
Parking: Easy access to parking.

First time visiting was on a Sunday after the rush. It was slow so the service was good. I ordered take out. The food was meh, nothing like I had heard it was. Didn't really have a variety of things.
I ordered to shrimp skewer dinners and substituted rice pilaf for mac. The veggies were soggy but the shrimp were good. The mac was tasty. They gave a huge serving of salad.
I would hv preferred 3 skewers with a smaller salad.
I dont think I would pick here if there was another place to choose.
