Shogun Japanese Steakhouse

I really hope this information is incorrect & that Shogun is not closed because this place is great. There used to be a really good server that worked there. But I haven't seen him there in about a year or so.

The chefs always put on a good show! Food is high quality and always good ! I got the Shrimp and steak.it was really good! Yum yum sauce is good to put on it also.

Describe my experience... Online it says that this restaurant closes at 10. My girlfriend and I walked in at 9:15 and were refused service. The doors were unlocked, all the lights were still on, and there were several employees gathered at the front desk. We also noticed that there were people at the bar eating their dinners. When we asked why we couldn't be seated, the hostess said with a very bitter attitude "um, we stop serving when people stop coming in." Which made absolutely no sense because WE came in and WE wanted to eat. There was no apologies, the employees did not seem sincere, and I still have no clue when they actually open or when they close. These people were very unprofessional. After looking forward to coming to this restaurant after a long, stressful day at work, this is the experience that I get. 100% will not be going back to this restaurant and will 100% tell everyone I come in contact with to not waste their time or money on such an awful place.

The restaurant is dirty and they are charging an extra 18 percent gratuity because they are closing? It is on the front door in very small print.
