We loved it! Our first time to stay in a bed and breakfast and definitely want be our last . The rooms are very clean and The home is well maintianed . The owners are very kind and breakfast was fantastic both mornings! Highly recommend this as a weekend trip or stop in on your way to the beach.

We came into town for a funeral and all the hotels were booked up and we got the last room available. The beds were comfortable and clean. The room had a refrigerator/freezer and a microwave and that was nice. The air conditioning worked beautifully and since it was almost 100 degrees outside, we appreciated that greatly. The room did smell musty but it cleared up in a few hours. But the room was hot and once we turned on the air it cleared out rather quickly. However, the sink faucet leaked all around the sink area and we were constantly cleaning it up. The light in the bathroom would not come on for several minutes. And the toilet probably leaks under the floor because it rocked like a cradle when you sat down on it. There was something that looked like either mud or animal poop in a corner but we only found that the night we were getting ready to leave, however, had a vacuum been used, around the air conditioning they would have found it. The furnishing are beautiful, particularly their sofas and chairs. Top quality and comfortable. They're just lacking on a few housekeeping issues. The grounds appeared clean and the lobby was nice. They do serve a breakfast but it isn't a hot breakfast, just fruit, cereal, toast, and yogurt. The front desk folks were nice and friendly. We didn't stick around the hotel because we were at the funeral home most of the time and so, we weren't terribly annoyed by these things and didn't have time to really address them.
