Jacob & Logan are the best! They will always have my business!

Jacob and Logan really went the extra mile helping us get our deal done from out of state. My wife and I found the car she wanted on-line, but the only problem was we live about 125 miles away in Georgia. They did everything they could to get the deal done over the weekend so we didn't have to go over during the week. They stayed in contact with me and my credit union and made it happen. Our trade-in was evaluated, and paperwork was ready when we got there. Drove the new vehicle. Liked it. Went back home with it. Awesome experience.

Caveat Emptor!! While the buying experience was good, unfortunately Bill Hancock Motors has failed to honor their commitment on a 90 day major component warranty that was included as a part of the sale. The vehicle I purchased broke down within 2300 miles and less than 3 months. I called Logan and made him aware of the situation letting him know that I towed the vehicle to a local dealership. I never heard back from Bill Hancock motors. All in, towing, parts and labor I paid $4700 to get the vehicle repaired. When I contacted Bill and Rita (the owners) concerning the warranty, Rita expressed concern about the difference in labor between St Louis and their service providers locally. I told them up front I would be willing to work with them. They asked for some time to think about it. I called Bill a few days later. He let me know that he didn’t make much on the vehicle and the most he could do was a $1000 because they could have performed the repairs for much less. I informed him that the parts alone were $1675. He asked to see the invoice (which I sent to him via email). He also suggested that the repair wouldn’t be covered under the warranty. (There is nothing in the paperwork that explicitly details what is or is not covered as a major component, in this case the engine, nor is there a mileage limit). I asked that he consider paying for the parts and cover the labor at the local rate of $65. Bill never responded to my request so I followed up with an email showing the bill of sale, the warranty, the tow bill, repair invoice and suggested that a fair remediation would be $2500. I let him know that if I didn’t receive a response by end of day on 4/21 my next steps would be updating social media reviews (Google and Facebook), contacting the BBB and initiating a statement of claim in small claims court. Bill reached out the next day via email with a question about who last touched the car. I told him that I had an an oil change performed at the Porsche dealership on 3/2. He responded that I also had an inspection seeming to indicate that someone maybe did something to the vehicle and he would use that to say they had no responsibility. I responded that it was a normal inspection that any dealer or oil change shop performs. (The repair performed on the engine had nothing to do with anything that would be touched with an oil change). That was the last I heard from him. I bought this vehicle because it was a one owner, clean car fax, maintained at the dealership and the owners personally knew the prior owner. Bill Hancock Motors was confident enough in the vehicle that they offered a 90 day warranty at sale. While no one thought something would happen, it did. When I reached out and asked that they honor their commitment, even offered to meet them half way they looked for ways to avoid taking accountability. Let the buyer beware!! Bill Hancock Motors is happy to take your money at sale, but they will not honor their warranty.

All around great dealership. Logan went above and beyond to make sure our transaction went perfect. Even when it looked like delivery may not be possible due to unforeseen circumstances, Logan stayed in constant contact with me and worked out a plan to make sure the vehicle was on time. Thanks for making the car buying experience easy. We will definitely purchase from Logan again.
