I saw Dr Boscia for over a year due to a rapid onset of shortness of breath. My 1st visit was very impressive and I thought I'd get good care there. He sent me for a lot of tests. I had follow up appointments without any resolution. He has a website you have to check into before each appointment where you are supposed to update your medical history and medications. You also are directed there after each appointment for a summary of your visit. The summary always says that you discussed things that were never discussed. When I questioned him about it he told me that his website had articles to read for the information. On my last appointment we were supposed to review my sleep study that *he* ordered but I had to remind him of it. He wasn't prepared for my appointment at all. As it turned out the study didn't indicate that I had sleep apnea, but rather that my oxygen level was low when I slept. He told me to use my oxygen when I sleep (he didn't order oxygen for me but my PCP did). He also gave me a sample of an inhaler and I took my 1st dose there at his office. He wanted me to come back in 2 weeks. When I got home I began to have bad side effects from the inhaler so I called his office and told them I wasn't going to continue with it. I got an email telling me that I could visit his website for a review of my visit and there was a mention of 2 topics we hadn't discussed *again* and no mention of the sleep study, his suggestion to sleep with oxygen, or that he gave me a sample inhaler. Nor were my updates to my health history and meds there. So he wasted my time to make those updates and didn't record the visit accurately. I'd decided I'd had enough of him and left a message to cancel my next appointment. I fired him. I asked my PCP for a referral to a different Pulmonary Dr. I don't recommend him at all. I wish I could give negative stars in my review.

Dr. Boscia and his team are awesome. I had a bad experience with a PA at the one in Spartanburg so I see my Doctor at the one in Union. Love them!
