Aabby is a quality family-owned business. We called them shortly after our new house, that we hadnt moved into yet, flooded from the combination of an existing poorly installed drainage system, overgrown vegetation left from previous owners that dammed our gate & a fluke flash flood. After an initial $300 investigation; Jon, Gabe & Dylan discovered several issues with the drainage. No other company we spoke with offered that. Jon made suggestions to fix the drainage and mitigate that area from flooding again based on their findings. We did our due diligence and got several other quotes from other landscapers. We found several we liked and most were cheaper, but ultimately we called Jon back because of proximity & his overkill solution. He also gave us a 3% military discount, which was nice. He was considerate to fit us in quickly when he had a cancellation during the busy season. We really liked his experienced, large crews who could get the job done quickly. Other companies we talked to spoke highly of AAbby as a whole. During install, there were some hiccups and stressful moments - as to be expected working with drainage issues. There were also a few miscommunications, but nothing they werent willing to work out with us. The crews were hard working and good listeners. Everyone involved understood how important it was to us to get it fixed right and didnt mind us asking a lot of questions and being flexible as the project unfolded. We appreciated everyone involved being so considerate, punctual and kindNow, there were a few things that have room for improvement. I wish there was better communication of the end vision we came up with to the entire crew in advance. As the homeowner, I do feel its ultimately our responsibility to ensure the end result is to our liking, but we wouldve preferred the managers we paid to be there monitored it more closely each day rather than us having to bring issues to their attention because we were the ones closely monitoring it. It was a very reactionary process and I felt at times like a micromanager because issues kept happening and I was the only one consistently on site who clearly knew the end goals. The team leads were very patient and willing to work with us as issues unfolded though. The managers were very nice, but couldve been more proactive and attentive of each step so we, the homeowners, didnt have to be so involved. We also had to scramble to pick plants and design all the foliage placement ourselves because we were told after the fact that design wasnt included and they were so busy they didnt really have the time to help us beyond 15 minutes to pick the plants out. So, I had to take an entire day short notice to design, research and place all the foliage while the crew waited on me. It was very rushed and minimal expertise was provided. AAbbys pricing is on par with most big landscapers in this area, but just know they charge 2.5X for the cost of plants - its quite an up charge. Its in the customers best interest financially and time-wise to do their own research, pick and design the foliage and have them on site ready to plant when Aabby arrives to do the job. They will of course plant and deliver them for you for their up charge, but you have to know exactly what you want, where you want them placed, unless you tell them in advance you want to pay for their design time. Discovering all of that the day of, then scrambling to figure it all out myself was quite an inconvenience. In the end, the result is beautiful and I feel like I became a designer . More importantly, after testing it amidst many rain storms since - all seems to work infinitely better! We have an overkill solution that will hopefully never flood again. I would recommend AAbby to anyone needing drainage/landscape. They have quality, wonderful workers. Just make sure you communicate your specific vision to everyone involved & are clear on any potential pricing before scheduling. We chose to hire them again and are working with Brent this time - hes funny & a fantastic communicator!

A Abby came and did a total landscape of both our front and back yards. That was 2 years ago and people STILL stop (quite often) and tell us how beautiful our yard is! On that note, we also use A Abby to keep our grass fertilized and cared for. The grass is GREEN and the weeds are non-existent. Special thanks goes out to Mr. Joe Leach for his expertise and care in feeding our lawn and producing these consistent results! Joe goes the extra mile to talk to me about grass cutting techniques as well as how to properly water the lawn for the absolute BEST results. We Love Joe!!!

We have very good service from Aabby with our lawn service. They all do a great job but especially Joe who does our lawn treatments. He is very professional and knowledgable and we appreciate his insights.
