Sherburne Lumber is not a chain store but a true lumber yard serving Tyngsboro and surrounding towns. The wood is not picked over. This came in very handy because unknown to us, we had water damage and rotted wood along our house foundation. At the time, I went to the chain store and they just didn’t have what I needed. I needed knot free, crack free, straight wood delivered to the job site.
Searching online, I saw Sherburne Lumber delivered and had just the wood I needed to replace the rotted wood along the house foundation. Sherburne Lumber even provided material to repair rot damage under the sliding glass door. We also purchased from them all the materials to rebuild our deck. Sherburne Lumber has a wide variety of composite decking, railing systems and manufactures to choose from.
Sherburne Lumber saw the initial level of damage. The owner provided advice and excellent material at a reasonable price. We now have a solid foundation, and a beautiful deck that matches our outdoor living space. We were so impressed with their professionalism, suggestions and attention to detail. They were always prompt, courteous, and kept us informed throughout the entire process whether in person, email or text. The repair work took many weeks, material was ordered and delivered on time and within budget. They were patient with us when we ordered the wrong material and had to bring it back and replace. The quality of the material was exceptional and we are extremely satisfied with the results.
We would highly recommend Sherburne Lumber to anyone looking for a reliable and skilled material source for their home improvement or contracting needs.
