12/24/22 There were roaches in the room!! Never again. 2/26/23 I said that I would never stay here again, but due to unforseen circumstances, I had to return to Tuscaloosa and get a room on short notice. My experience with this hotel this time around was completely different from the last. The room was clean, there were no roaches in sight, and the staff was very friendly. One staff member stood out above the rest, Tara. She was absolutely amazing!! She made the last-minute check-in process super easy. The first room I was given had issues with the toilet flushing, another employee left a message to inform her of the issue, and Tara made sure she got me into a room that was to my satisfactory. She was very patient and didn't make me feel like I was bothering her. Next time I'm in Tuscaloosa, I will intentionally stay here. Tara is a valuable asset to this establishment, I look forward to seeing her again.
