I started as an assembler in Line B. Micro management was a huge issue, favoritism, lazy leads and employees. Completely excluded from the team environment. Standards fluctuate and expectations are inconsistent. Having worked up and down the whole line with all the leads I can say without doubt that the goal is to give the appearance of being productive to upper management rather than solving problems and maximizing productivity. Once while I was trying to find work for myself I was approached by the Line C lead and asked what I was doing. I explained that I was looking for parts to continue my work. No problem right? Well 5 minutes after I was approached rather aggressively by the lead for my specific area at the time (50-100) if I remember correctly. He basically told me that I shouldn’t talk to the leads because it made him look bad. If you want to work hard and stay productive DO NOT work here. Aside from that the company did a terrible job of implementing safety standards related to covid. At the time I was living with four at risk family members and I understandably did not want to be responsible for killing the most important people in my life. Basically they wanted me to go to work or get fired even though I had a dr’s note. Overall a nightmare since I’ve quit I look back in horror at the working conditions. Animosity, exclusion, favoritism, double standards (especially with safety). Working here was one of the greatest sources of stress in my life. If you’re lazy you’ll probably do great though.
