    We were in the process of selling our home. Our pool needed a brand new light that my husband and I purchased a few months prior to contacting Daudelin Pool Service. Adam, a tech from this company, came out to install the light. He had to do some drilling to get the new light installed. Finished the job but we noticed that three days later, we were losing quite a bit of water from our pool. We called Adam In hopes that he could check his own work out because of the leak. He IMMEDIATELY developed an attitude with my very calm mannered husband. He basically said...."stop blaming me for your 40yr old pool leak." Adam was on speaker phone, so I heard all that he had to say regarding his light installation. He is a hot head for sure! We did NOT blame him for causing the leak, but he was the last person to touch our pool and we've never lost water or had any trouble with our pool....until he touched it! So, he refused to check his work, and my husband and I had to pay for yet another person to come out to check Adam's careless workmanship. When we had another company check for leaks, the leak was coming EXACTLY where Adam had worked on the light! We told Adam this.....and because he must distrust everyone, he DEMANDED that my husband send him a video of the leak! We provided him a video of the leak. He finally reimbursed us for the monies we had to pay for another company to have to come out to check his work, but this guy Adam......is surely a hothead, so I really would not recommend this company! My father ran a business for many, many years, and he taught us how to respect customers and take into consideration all their concerns, so this guy, Adam, his behavior, is totally unacceptable in my book! Update on this family business!!! This company was started by Josh....later on he brought on board his brother, Adam. This information was just explained to me by the company's manager, Melissa! Melissa is a fantastic, kind, and caring person! She explained to me that Adam, the brother of Josh, is no longer with Daudelin Pool Service! Adam had to be "removed" from this business for reasons listed in my initial post! Adam's irrational and rather meniacle behavior is just the very reason why he had to be "let go" from this family owned and operated business! Evidently, Adam has "gone off the deep end" with other customers, therefore....Josh had to rid him from the company. Adam has started his own Company, Adam&Company. I would seriously not even entertain the thought of using this "hot head" as a pool service person. Again, Adam's unusual, unprofessional, and illogical behavior was unacceptable. Please be wary of this man! As for the management of Daudelin Pools, I want to thank Melissa for reaching out to me and explaining to me the "real" story behind Adam and his departing from Daudelin Pool Service. Again, he's not affiliated with Josh and Daudelin Pool Service any longer.

    As a new homeowner and first time pool owner, I was overwhelmed by the number of problems inherited last summer with the purchase of our new home especially after being told by the previous owner that everything was in good working order. The pool wasn’t properly winterized, it had been drained when it shouldn’t have been, pipes were busted, new lines needed to be trenched and installed including cutting into the cement pool deck to do the repair, the heater was malfunctioning, and the liner was leaking. I didn’t know the first thing about pools, but I was willing to learn and to get my hands a little dirty too. With my first phone call to Daudelin’s and talking to Melissa on the phone I immediately felt more at ease. She was patient and empathetic to my situation. She was always willing to answer any question I had as well as get others involved to help when needed. Adam’s honesty and willingness to work with me and teach me at every step of the process was fantastic. As someone completely out of my comfort zone he could have easily sent his employees to do the work and charged me much more, but instead he let me be involved and let me learn when I was comfortable doing so. If a problem was bigger than expected he was quick to bring in Daudelin employees who had expertise to help in the given situation. Over the course of our repairs I had the pleasure of meeting many Daudelin employees and they were always friendly, polite, and easy going. Not once did I have a bad or negative encounter with anyone from Daudelin’s. No one wants to have to deal with pool problems, but when they do arise I’m thankful to have Daudelin’s expertise and sound advice as a resource to help me navigate problems and handle the major repairs I am not capable of doing on my own. They will always be my first phone call for any pool related issues. Two of these photos show the condition of my pool at the beginning of summer once I opened the cover to see what I had and the third photo shows the end of summer once all repairs were complete and a new liner was installed (water only filled part way because pool was properly winterized at the same time).

    If you are looking for a pool company then look no further than Daudelin Pool Services. We had a liner pool installed in July and it's fantastic. From the first phone call to inquire about a pool Daudelin Pool Services has been amazing. They began the project when they said they would and communicated with us constantly throughout the project. The workmanship was outstanding as well as the customer service. After our pool was complete we had a concrete company pour a patio and concrete around the pool. Unfortunately, the concrete company accidently poured quite a bit of concrete into our recently finished pool. I called Daudelin Pool Services and explained what had just happened and within 20 minutes they were here accessing the situation. Over the next few days, Josh Daudelin and his crew cleaned the pool, checked the filter for concrete, and rebalanced the chemicals for us. Talk about outstanding customer service!
