Gained a lot of knowledge from a seminar held at Dixie Crossroads. It is very hard to discuss prearrangements for my mother but Mindee answered all of our questions to help make the discussion easier.

We bought our funeral package from Mindee Nguyen. She was very thorough and professional. She explained everything in terms that I could understand. Thank you Mindee

This company does not communicate well or accurately. They make commitments that they do not follow through. We have been waiting for over two weeks for the death certificate. We got three different excuses. Additionally, the funeral director promised a digital copy three days ago and we never got it. It is too frustrating to deal with this company.

Thank you Jim at Baldwin Brothers for assisting Ed and I with my twin sister's cremation services. Pricing was clearly laid out online and at their facility. Everyone was wonderful. As hard as everything was for me with so much going on, Jim made arrangements simplified and straightforward. I thank you greatly for being a beacon in the middle of a tragic loss for myself and my family.

Ive been very conflicted on whether or not I should leave this review. As I think about it longer I know my experience needs to be shared. Unfortunately, my family and I did not have a pleasant experience with Baldwin brothers. My mother passed away last month on a Sunday, unexpectedly. Baldwin brothers were scheduled to come pick my mom up. A kind gentleman showed up about 3 hours later and told my aunt to take our time saying our goodbyes. Im 24 years old, I have to face the rest of my life without my mom. Needless to say, I wasnt taking the situation well. 10 minutes after the driver arrived my dad got a phone call. A woman from their office proceeds to tell my dad that she sent her crew from Orlando. I thought you said she was ready to be picked up. I cant have my crew waiting there all day. There was one driver so I dont know what she meant by crew. My dad told her we were finishing saying our goodbyes and she told my dad, okay well how much longer are you going to be? 15 minutes or what? My father was done with the company at this point. We were told by the driver to take our time and this office woman called us 10 minutes later harassing us about taking too long. My dad told her to take her crew and leave. She panicked when he said those words. She told us no, no and the phone call ended after a few more exchanges. This was a huge red flag and we should have just continued with firing them at this point. The driver apologized greatly for the way she spoke to my dad and got ahold of his boss. His boss apologized. I said my final goodbyes and the driver took my mom. We were in no way expecting the driver to sit there all day. We were completely expecting to pay for his time as he waited for us for those few extra minutes. My dad helped the driver bring my mom to the baldwins transport van as our pathway has steps and uneven. The last thing we needed was for this man to drop my mom on our front lawn. The next day my dad got a phone call from a blocked number. Blocked numbers are usually always scam calls so I would think most people dont answer them. It was the same office woman calling again. She said she was working from home so she called on a block number. Told my dad that he needs to come to the office and sign the paperwork to get my mom cremated. Getting my mom cremated was never an option. We wanted to have her buried back in our home state. We were never asked if we wanted to have her cremated, the answer would have been NO. Therefore, the driver had brought my mom to the Titusville location that doesnt have refrigeration because it this woman just assumed that we wanted my mom cremated. Thanks to her mistake my mom wasnt kept refrigerated overnight. The office woman should not be in this field dealing with grieving people. She is a cold woman with no professionalism and I cant recommend anyone to use this company as long as she is working for them. Management was very apologetic which is why Ive struggled whether or not to post this. I have decided to speak my truth because no one should have to deal with the things we went through using Baldwin. As long as this woman is working at Baldwin brothers, I cannot recommend them. Update 9/03/2021 I did change my review from 1 star to 3 stars. I spoke with Ruth who was very apologetic. She told me that they did have communication issues and she wished she could take that day back. I appreciate her admitting to their faults. Management has been so apologetic that I cant leave my one star review. Ruth said they had an internal meeting over our situation and Ive accepted that mishaps do happen. I really hope they fix the issues to ensure this never has to happen to another family.
