Terrible Customer Service. Gates removed the application of their Carbon Fiber CVT belt for Polaris General. Gave the answer that the belt cannot support 800cc or higher machines but does on their web site over many similar Polaris models. Expensive belt failed with NO replacement resolution and ignored follow up emails. Terrible Service and product support.

I purchased a brand new Timing belt kit from Import Image Racing (GATES BRAND), and had it installed at a professional shop. The timing belt tensioner failed on start up resulting in making the engine jump time 4 seconds into completion and bent the valves. I was offered a warranty on the tensioner itself but no compensation for the now head work and valve job that has to be completed because of their cruddy parts manufacturing. Gates used to be quality, Im not sure what the problem is now. If I could give them a Zero I would. Highly recommend against purchasing their parts.

Bad Quality belt for combine Claas/Cat 480 no.6678910. After one year it destroyed completely
