Assortment, good. Professionalism, terrible.
Weve visited STW 4+ times and finally made a choice on our slabs. We did all the right things; make an appointment, have fabricator go before us to see slabs, show up to pick out slabs with their ppl, pick out the slabs, notify our fabricator, and we received an email confirmation from STW for our visit.
Well, we didnt do all the right things according to STW. We are now an extra week behind schedule.
They sent the incorrect #d slabs to our fabricator (0.3 miles down the road). They then tried to have the fabricator pay an additional delivery fee for the correct slab and said that we (the customer) did not pick any slabs because there were no notes in the system. Even though we had an appointment where we picked out the right slabs with the sales rep and ALSO confirmed it with our fabricator on the spot via phone, who went before us to look at the SAME slabs on display, FOR US.
So due to THEIR negligence in note taking, its our fault and we were told to pay it (via fabricator).
After multiple calls, convos, screenshots of messages, images of their paperwork, they agreed to accept responsibility and get the right slabs to the fabricator.
In a world where these large businesses make so much money off of us, they never accept responsibility for their faults, its always someone else.
