This is a long overdue thanks to Scott Luginski and Tutwiler & Associates Public Adjusters. Months after we bought our home, we suffer severe water damage to our master bathroom and living room due to old cast iron pipes. Thanks to your help we were able to get the insurance money to fix our home back to the way we bought it and much more. I would recommend anyone that suffers and type of damage to their home to get a Public Adjuster especially this firm (Tutwiler & Associates Public Adjusters) to deal with the insurance company. Scott recently assisted me with a water claim at my home. My insurance carrier barely offered me enough money to repair surface issues with my master bathroom, let alone the underlying damage that had been done. Mr. Luginski was able to create an estimate that accurately represented my loss. My claim was contested and settled expeditiously because of his efforts. I love my new bathroom and have now been compensated fairly for my loss. This review is a thank you, and an endorsement for anyone that is looking for a PA to assist them with a homeowners claim.

This is an update to my original review almost two years ago. My insurance claim is now complete and we have been fairly compensated. The claims process is lengthy no matter how you go about it and my claim went through litigation beyond the initial claim, appeal and appraisal process. I received good service from Scott & the team at Tutwiler, especially initially in the process. Scott directed the efforts of a remediation team to mitigate and document the damage in my home and then got an estimate for the insurance company prepared. Everything was done professionally. After the initial claim, it took a long time working with Tutwiler, my contractor and the insurance company to keep things going. My contractor felt that the claim would have been completed faster without a public adjuster and at some steps it felt like I had to push the process along. Once it got into the litigation stages, Tutwiler referred me to a law firm and it was successful. In the end, my entire claim was paid out which is a significantly higher amount than the initial offer from the insurance company.

Mike Stabile’s professionalism, integrity, technical expertise, customer service, and compassion are beyond reproach. Mike turned a travesty into a blessing that I will be eternally grateful for. At one point during my Hurricane Michael nightmare a friend referred me to an attorney specializing in battling insurance claims. When I told him that Mike Stabile from Tutwiler was handling my claim he assured me I was in good hands. He stated “if I’m ever a hurricane victim Mike Stabile is the first person I will call”. From that point on, I sat back and let Mike run the show. Using thermal imaging and moisture mapping Mike was able to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that substantial hidden water damage existed behind the walls and into the subfloor. Mike was able to get over 6 times more than what the insurance company initially offered as “Final” payment. The result was a full policy payout and he even got the $5,000 deductible waived. The process took 6 months but only due to the Insurance company’s lack of cooperation and stall tactics but it was well worth it.
