Brought in my mom to these group for a pre procedure consultation. It's our first time here. We came into suite #200 and followed the address that is listed for this group on Google. After arriving to the second floor and waiting at the door, then waiting in the waiting area turned out that all pre procedure pts go to a totally different building. Mind you my elderly mom is on oxygen and has a injured foot so she can barely walk. We drive up the building that we were told to by staff in another building and there is NO Sign of any kind indicating that this group exists in this building. Also, no one mentioned when appointment was made that the address listed on Google is not where my mom should go. By the time we made it to the right building and right suite I thought that I will have to call 911 as mom was all out of breath and pale. Please make sure that patient knows exactly where they need to go and put signs up that at least indicate building entrance and that you clinic's name somewhere on the building or close to the entrance before someone collapsed trying to find their appointment location.

I've been going here for 38 years and they are so kind and sweet from the front office to the back. They specialize in anything from heartburn to hepatitis and any and all intestinal problems. I would definitely recommend this place in fact my mom goes there also.

My experience was very positive initially. When I called to make an appointment the person I talked with was professional and helpful. It did take quite a while to get an appointment. When I arrived for my appointment, before I finished filling out the paperwork, I was called into an examining room, asked a few questions and had my blood pressure checked. A short time later Dr. Taubman arrived. He greeted me warmly and then we discussed my issues. Dr. Taubman had reviewed all pertinent information prior to our meeting. He treated me with respect and listened carefully to me. Most doctors I have dealt with really do not seem that interested in me or my issues or they talk down to me or they act like they have all the answers. Often, they seem to be in a hurry to get to the next patient. Dr. Taubman on the other hand made me feel very comfortable and spent a reasonable period of time with me without appearing to be in a hurry. The the Patient Advisor service seems to be the weak point in the service at Digestive Health. I made an appointment for a colonoscopy. I was told to get the prep from my pharmacy as it would have no cost. But it did cost about $20.00. I could deal with this but then I received an email with a link to my instructions. After reading the instructions I found they were not consistent with the prescription. I called and was able to talk with my doctor's nurse. She said that the instructions were not correct. She then guided me to the instructions on the Digestive Health Specialists website. Subsequently, I received instructions in the mail, which were again incorrect. My Colonoscopy went very well, start to finish. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. The support and nursing staff was excellent, making me feel very comfortable. I have had at least 7 colonoscopies over the years in California, Oregon and Washington. This was the best experience of all, not that any colonoscopy is a good experience. I would have rated Digestive Health 5 stars, had it not been for their Patient Advisor service.

He listened to what I had to say and acted fast! This is what I look for in a doctor someone who listens and understands to the patient. I would recommend him to anyone!
