Nice place, but our hotel room smelled like smoke (we are non-smokers). Pool was closed for cleaning and that was one of our reasons for picking this hotel. Breakfast was cold and there was still over an hour left before breakfast ended. Overall they had good choices. There was no pancake mix left and the food in the warmers was cold.

Tale of two crews. PM check in staff were helpful and accommodating. However our door access keys failed to work three times. Traveling with kids who needed to "go." No restroom access on the main floor. Locked for staff only! Allowed in the room while staff tried to troubleshoot the key issue.
AM crew was overrun by families either checking out or trying to eat breakfast.
Items ran out. Staff unable to handle the rush and reacted rudely. The number of patrons should have been known and adjustments made to accommodate.
IHG was notified.

We chose this hotel for the location (right off 75), and for the room configurations - they are one of the few hotels I've seen that offer two KING beds and a sleeper sofa, which works well for my family. Those were pretty much the only redeeming qualities. The room was very worn down - fraying carpet, dirty chairs, furniture that was visibly damaged, etc. The bathroom had a vent that looked straight into the room next door - you could see the lights on in the next room, through our bathroom! There was a dirty towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door, one of the folded towels on the rack was crusty, and the tub was visibly dirty. The mattresses were extremely hard. The breakfast was also a disappointment - no cinnamon rolls (a HIE staple), the pancake machine was broken, and they weren't keeping up with the hot food, which kept running out. Overall, would not recommend staying here.
