Before finishing our basement, we went shopping for a french drain installation. Out of all the companies we received quotes from, HydroAmor was clearly the correct choice. It clearly paid itself off after experiencing Hurricane Ida. Throughout the storm and couple days after, the french drain and sump pumps were removing water almost constantly just like they were designed to do. Hearing the water be pumped out was like music to my ears! And of course, no water was visible through the walls or the slab at any point during the storm.
Tony was super transparent and knowledgeable on water proofing a basement. He patiently and kindly answered all our questions, which were limited since he thoroughly went through the process and even had a simulated video to show us. Not to mention he's a funny guy! The day of the installation, Tony walked his foreman, Jorge, and his team through the job and it was off to work. The team was extremely efficient and effective in getting the job done. It was like watching a tire change at a F1 pit stop. Everyone knew what their role was and executed it flawlessly. Day 1 consisted of breaking concrete and removal, digging the trench and sump pits, and installation of the drain line and sump pumps, and repatching the trench with new concrete. Day 2 consisted any patch work on the concrete and running the drain line out to the street.
Overall the team did a great job and I can now have peace of mind on continuing to finish our basement without fear of water damage thanks to Tony, Jorge and the rest of the team at HydroAmor!

Had an appointment with them today for 1pm. Took my lunch break to run to the house to meet them, to only get a text at 1 pm saything they can't make it and to reschedule. Unreliable.

Do not go with this company, they never respond after the work is done. They give warranty for basement for any leaks , this is just a fake on paper. I have done the work with them, my basement still has leakages.

So very disappointed and heartbroken. Am 69 years old, and had finally found a little home that I could afford that is cheaper than my rent. Under contract but worried about foundation issues, I found Daniel's YouTube videos and thought his company just might be my salvation. Had made an appointment for "Tony" to come out and give free estimate so that I could purchase home responsibly knowing what kind of cost the repairs would cost. My sister, my daughter and I all waited, and waited. After calling the company twice to confirm, texting and emailing Tony to confirm... I get him on the phone after the appointment time had passed, and he tells me "sorry.... they must have double booked me. I can't come there today.," I took time off from work, and they knew that this was a time sensitive issue. Now, I will have to pull out of my dream and contract, because they can't make appointments and stick by them. Very disappointed.

I was under contract to purchase a home that our inspector discovered had unexpected foundation issues. I was having trouble finding a local contractor or engineer to assess the issue in a timely manner, and we were facing a hard deadline. Fortunately I discovered Dan and Hydroarmor on YouTube. Not only was I able to educate myself through his fun and informative videos, but I was also able to have a virtual consult with Dan within days of my request. He was extremely detail oriented during the video call and he made it a point to look at the big picture of what might have been causing the issue so that we had a clear picture of what we would be getting into. This is important because foundation issues are not always isolated to a single cause. He also provided very helpful suggestions and guidance, including what the cost might be, and the different approaches we might consider. He even offered to speak with our contractor when the time comes. Chance favors a prepared mind in situations like this, and so I don't think we would have been able to decide how to move forward if it was not for the insight Dan provided. I even got to meet Hydro Dog during the call! Even though I live on the other side of the country, I will definitely reach out to Dan again during future purchases if needed. I also highly recommend his videos and virtual consults to others, even if it's just to get a second opinion or a funny story - Jersey style!
