I put an earnest money down for $1000 and quickly changed my mind due to the fact that the house didnt really meet my needs. I have been waiting for them to refund me the amount for a month and they have not responded. I feel like all the reviews about this builder is fake or paid for. If you can avoid transactions with them, steer the other way. UPDATE: After publishing this review, I have received a phone call from their general manager and spoke to my sales agent, Jennifer regarding the refund check. They have since sent me the check in the mail which I received yesterday. I am now changing my review from a one star to a four to give them credit for correcting their mistakes. Horrible experience. I was trying to move into the flagstone community, but the office has not been built yet, so I had to go to this location. I made it clear when I first walked in the office I only make $50,000 a year. They told me my annual income really "doesn't matter" and convinced me I qualified for the home, and after running a soft credit check they said i was approved for any house I wanted in that neighborhood. They had me plant a For Sale sign in the yard and take photos as if I was approved already and had me turn in $3,000 in earnest money. And then they went a whole month without talking to me. No communication, no updates nothing. I reached out to Sapna the lady who they bragged about who could get me approved for the loan and I got no response back from her. Then I called again and a week later she finally told me I didn't qualify for the house because my income was too low. That was the very thing I said when I first walked in the office that my income was only $50,000. So why lie to a customer and convince them the house is theirs when the very thing that determines if I am approved is my income? Do not waste your time or give them any earnest money because all of those people in that office are liars. They get people excited so you can sign the contract, turn in the $3,000 so they can make their commission for the week and if you're not approved they don't even bother to reach back out to you. I will never waste my time here again because the houses are small and overpriced anyway.
