I can't say enough nice things about Brookdale Skylyn. When I needed a short term place for my mother, they worked with me, made her comfortable and were so attentive to her needs. The nurses are kind, humorous and welcoming. When I needed records faxed or phone calls made to place my mother in a permanent nursing home, they were accommodating and effiecent. I only wish we could have kept my mother there permanently.

brookdale is one of the most screwed up places i have ever tried to live....the food there is not fit to eat and they dont allow you to opt out of paying for what you cant eat ...the place is old ...run down...full of bugs ....even has bed bugs in part of the place ......one washing machine per floor .........mold behind some wall papers ....and a very questionable fire alarm system.......the resident are wonderful and that is the only saving grace to the place........a lot of the staff are great and some are there for a pay check and could care less.......the place is so out of date it is like comparing a wore out pinto to a new navigator ..........and the staff in the office......miss debbie is the only one left with common sense and tiffany is great with greeting people and taking messages for maintenance........best thing to do ...build a new building ...move the residents over and demolish the old one.........i give the people who live there a 10 ....the staff a 5 .....and the building and apts struggle to get a 2 ............glad i could get out and be done with the place .........

The staff is extremely helpful and the facility is nice. I'm grateful that my parents are here.
