AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!
They renovated our 1893 building two decades ago and its been two decades of code violations, headaches, and expenses. The list of what they screwed up, the damage they did, and the complaints of some of the worst work Ive ever seen in my life (Im a middle aged architect and work on rehabbed and historical properties) is almost endless. I had to buy a larger binder in which to keep the countless records of all the work thats been required to fix their mistakes, and to make the house safe and code-compliant. The only way Ive seen similar projects get the final sign off from the building inspector is by the developer/contractor being personally connected to someone at city hall or by paying someone off.

Carroll did a roof replacement two years ago for me. Highly recommend staying away from them. We had myriad issues with the work and they also attempted to charge us for things that were included in the contract. As part of the work, they also replaced 5 skylights - we just flew a drone over our building that showed all 5 old skylights still on top of our roof (2 years later) just sitting waiting to be blown away by high winds. Called Carroll to have them removed and all numbers are disconnected. Hopefully they're out of business.

This man is a thief. He charged my credit card for over 1700. Then never got a receipt or supplies.  He was supposed to side my house. I never heard from him again. Do not do business with these people.

The only reason they got 1 star is that I couldn't choose 0.We made an agreement with them late in 2019, and gave them a $6000 deposit.  They were unreachable after that and in June of 2020 Jack Carroll showed up and told us an employee absconded with our deposit.  He scammed us out of another $1000 to do some additional work.  He then disappeared completely and the office stopped answering.  We contacted a lawyer, but they have gone underground.DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!
