The teachers are great with the exceptional communication through tadpoles on how my babys day is going. He loves going to school every morning! (Thank goodness lol) The office staff is great as well! They update me on anything coming up, tuition, how my babys day was, and even future events. Couldnt recommend this school more!! Will definitely be telling friends to bring their kids here.

With extensive research I decided to let my childs first experience with daycare (or anyone watching her) be with CHLC. Much to my surprise, after a really great tour, making things seem what they are NOT. My daughter cried, screaming, & kicking at drop off and at pick up. (The staff always said every child does this and its normal for her age at 3) They let their best teachers go, and the bad ones stay. One of the teachers seemed to have been very aggressive in the way she spoke to my daughter, even in FRONT OF ME at pick up and then TO ME as well! I was told by one of the directors that this was the second time in the SAME DAY that this teacher had to be addressed with a parent/higher up about her poor behavior, and that they dont have audio on the video cameras so she wouldnt be able to tell if she had been talking aggressively or abusive toward any children. But that shes basically on her way out the door so I shouldnt worry. I was reassured tho that they watch the cameras for abnormal behavior toward the children. This teacher stayed but just sucked up to me and faked it. While I know she was very mean behind closed doors. I understand that physical abuse is serious but verbal abuse is also VERY traumatic and real. Very serious when it comes to a 3 year olds social development. For us especially since this was her first experience with a daycare. Another instance that was reoccurring was I saw this teacher and the other lifeguard just sitting on the table like they were just chatting, away from the POOL area where the kids are. And not paying attention. This happened twice when I went to pick up during pool time. I was very nervous about the water supervision and was reassured about two people actively watching. NOPE! Just gossiping while 12 3 year olds play in water unattended. For reference, she goes to a nice public school by our house now, and she hasnt cried ONCE at drop off or pick up and she comes home very happy, talking about all the things she did! When she came home from CHLC she was docile, sad, and still getting over her crying. SO in conclusion, do not always believe them when they say its totally normal especially for this age in reference to the kicking, screaming & crying at drop off and pick up. Its actually that the teachers arent the ratio they say they are. Theres like 17 kids per teacher it seems and there was always someone crying, sad in a corner somewhere because the teachers had too many kids to take care of. The bathroom was FILTHY I mean disgusting where my child had to potty. I helped her a couple of times and I just felt so bad leaving her there. She couldnt even reach the toilet paper while sitting on the toilet so she had to stand up and dribble pee(I imagine) when I wasnt there to help her. So all these good reviews, they are why I brought her there. But here is mine-and its honest. Dont let the cutesy tour & lies about low kid to teacher ratio, fake smiles, and awesome outdoor area fool you. These people are over worked, some are mean to your children, its not clean, and your kid is probably crying for a GOOD REASON.! We were only there a few months before we left. Take my review for what it is, but proceed with caution.

CH has been an exceptional daycare for my son and after-school care for my daughter. Reagan and Shannon were excellent and helpful from the beginning. The teachers Meredith, Bri, and Nuvia are some of the best childcare providers. They loved our kids, especially our little boy, like no other. I highly recommend this establishment for any parent looking for a clean, trustworthy, fully staffed, and transparent place.

Kids are always happy. They have an amazing schedule and activities planned out daily. Food choices are always great. Took some adapting at first, but now everything is perfect and the place is always clean.
