Man laughed when I tried to schedule a new first grooming appointment for my longhair cat. Kept saying if its a long hair it may need more work, which he does not. My cat regularly gets brushed and slightly groomed, no knots or matting, which he made difficult to get across. Didnt seem to want to schedule to begin with as he kept trying to mention hiccups in grooming a longhair. I currently moved in the area and was looking for a new grooming home. Happy to look elsewhere. To your response, I have spoken to this man before. Completely different tone, and I only didnt book the first time around because a scheduling conflict. Did not give me trouble that time around, but when I tried to speak and explain my situation, he wouldnt let me get a word in. No attitude from my side until he chuckled at me attempting to schedule an appointment which is rude to begin with. From the jump it felt as if he was telling me cons of having a longhair, trying to get his point across without context. It didnt even seem like he wanted to book the appointment, just stating why its more difficult for a long hair. Kept asking why I didnt go back to PetSmart as I had been there in the past, but I just recently moved closer to this area and was looking for a private more homey groomer Upset about the outcome. Overall, had he started off with, send us a picture, and the experience this cat has had with baths/ grooming, then we will determine pricing and compatibility based on that, then it would be different. Its about the delivery of it all, and clearly after the 42 years, and here thereafter it still needs touch ups. Good luck, & see this as constructive criticism for the next person who tries to book a long haired grooming appointment with you all. Maybe next time dont laugh and say what makes you think WE can? After I answered that my cat is a longhair and that he was going to PetSmart before moving into this area. Ridiculous.
