We told them well ahead of time that our insurance had changed. They didn't ask for a new card and let us book an appointment for our 2 kids. We showed up early for our appointment and they had us sit down - all set. 10 minutes or so later, they tell us they don't accept our new insurance and we would have to pay up to $250 per kid out of pocket (with a generous 10% courtesy discount). Really frustrating to pull 2 kids of school and miss work over something that could have easily been communicated well before our appointment. My kids are nervous at the dentist to begin with and this experience doesn't help at all. Dr. Connors is great, but her front desk people have been rude to both my wife and I on several occasions.

I would like to share my experience with Dr. Connors' practice. Initially, I was very pleased with the care my daughters received and I even referred two other families to the practice. However, my opinion changed last summer when I had to take a day off work to take my daughters to their annual appointment. Unfortunately, the appointment was cancelled a few days prior and I was unable to change my vacation day. After rescheduling, we encountered traffic on our way to the appointment. I called the office Ashly at the front desk to inform them of our potential lateness that if we were more than ten minutes late, we would not be seen. Unfortunately, we arrived twelve minutes late and were not accepted, despite our efforts to make it on time. We were disappointed and confused, and my daughters were upset that they could not attend their appointment. I contacted Dr. Connors to express my concerns and was told that the office policy was to not accept patients who arrive more than ten minutes late. I was instructed to call the front desk to reschedule the appointment. When I did, I was informed that Dr. Connors was no longer accepting us as patients. I feel frustrated and disappointed that my children have been caught up in this situation. It is insane that we are no longer welcome at the practice. What is the reason? Who knows.. Oh well we found a fantastic Dentist that my kids enjoy visiting, Affinity Dental!
